A compact, dwarf cultivar. Forms a rounded shape reaching just 2m in height and spread. A great choice for containers due to its compact habit. The lobes are narrow with tail-like tips. New leaves form a bright pink bunch at the end of shoots, contrasting with the purple-red hue of the mature leaves. When grown in shade, the leaves become bronze-green. Autumn colour is a very bright scarlet. The dark purple bark on young branches provides even more contrast and interest to the colour scheme.
Kandy Kitchen is an upright growing tree, reaching only 4m x 3m in 10 years. This makes it an ideal choice for a small garden or container growing.
